What I deliver
01Fifty years of finance leadership, translated into a small number of outcomes clients and boards consistently rely on:
A credible, independent voice on audit & risk
Two decades as a Big Four audit partner, brought to bear as an independent director or audit committee chair — governance grounded in how audits and controls actually work, not just how they're written up.
Capital raised, even in difficult markets
Structured and closed complex, cross-border financing, including Malaysia's first high-yield USD bond issue — USD 220 million raised in 2006 — and approval of the equity investment behind a USD 1.2 billion Indian power station, financed through a put option structure with a major international bank.
Transactions that hold up under scrutiny
Led due diligence, valuation and deal structuring on M&A across multiple jurisdictions, protecting value through complexity and giving boards confidence in what they're approving.
Clean reporting across multiple jurisdictions
Delivered statutory reporting across a portfolio of more than 400 group companies spanning several regulatory regimes, without losing sight of the numbers that matter to the board.
Finance functions built to scale
Authored group authority manuals, designed shared services centres, and built finance teams for groups moving from founder-led to institutional-grade governance.
A steady hand through restructuring
Guided organisations through group restructuring and transaction settlement with minimal disruption to operations, staff or stakeholder confidence.
